Here are a few shots from SICPP (Sick Puppy) at New England Conservatory in Boston, Ma. Participants stayed all over the city and came together for lessons, concerts, and rehearsals of new music celebrating the Cage Centennial. The Calluthumpian Consort was in residence as well as musicians such as Christian Wolff, Stephen Drury, and Steffen Schleiermacher.
My piece “Diva” from a while ago was performed by my new friends and sassy trio, Dave Tarantino (percussion), Chia-Ying Wu (percussion) and Leia Slosberg (flute). At the end of the week, SICPP ended with the infamous “Iditarod” concert, which this year totaled to 11 HOURS OF NEW MUSIC…..!
